Reviews and Complaints
Giant Recreation World or Giant Disappointment? Hurricane Irma devastated our house.
Due to mold issues, reconstruction will take months to complete, leaving my family without a home to live in. The fix? The new 2018 Coachmen Chaparral 370fl from Giant Recreation World to live in while re-construction is occurring. After graciously offering to drive the RV to my property, I accepted.
It is difficult for myself to do these actions myself due to being a permanently disabled first responder due to injuries received on duty. However, I would have rather hired a teenager with a new permit who recognizes some aspect of humility. The driver which transported the rv to my property hit a grape fruit tree while backing the rv. The rv received some minor damage (mostly scratches) to the left front side and to be honest, I felt sorry for the driver.
I even tipped him $20 for his time because accidents happen. I called Giant Recreation World and spoke with the sales manager who informed me to call the next day and talk with Dennis the General Manager. My wife spoke with Dennis concerning the damages. During their conversation my wife asked m

Decided to buy a new class A RV. I knew which one I wanted and searched online and found they had one.
Called and went in next day to test drive and look over RV ready to purchase. While looking over the RV in the lot I was having problems opening the engine hood. Some service tech with bad attitude came to help me out when he seen I was having problems. I have had a number of RV's and looked it over closely prior to my test drive and all looked good and the test drive was great.
So while I go in and make the purchase the RV is supposedly being prepped. As I go to finish up and leave I noticed that the back splash tiles by stove are now missing (3 large sections). Sales person tries to say service said they were damaged and they will order new ones and send to me. I asked for the old tiles so I could keep them as backups (better than nothing).
It is obvious they were hit multiple times with a hammer or heavy blunt object. Even the wall where the tiles stick to is now mushy and damaged. Funny they were not damaged prior to my purchasing the RV and on the test drive. But that is not all.
So I go ahead and leave with my new RV and noticed it was driving
Giant Recreation World - Palm Bay, Florida Reviews
My fiancee and myself were recently searching for a new rv and thought we found the one, at the right price and dealership. We couldn't have been more wrong. We are located a few hrs away from the palm bay location and dealership. So I worked out all details prior to driving over with our sales person, Sean. I asked him repeatedly to ensure the rv was in good/as close to new condition as possible. He guaranteed me that it was, even sent pictures. Albeit blurry and unfocused, I took his word for it. Further upon working out our deal over the phone, with our funds coming from out of state, we were constantly harassed and lied to about agreements made via Sean(sales person) by the finance manager Elizabeth. Elizabeth made the process a nightmare as soon as she received our down payment. Refusing agreed upon terms, and times for delivery. She also attempted to create problems for our investor after he informed her that we were responsible for the decisions. We of course wanted to back out at this point, but she threatened to keep our down payment and started to seek out other parties separately to threaten this behind each of our ba
