For those gearing up for challenging dungeons like Shadowfang Keep or ambitious raids such as Blackfathom Deeps in Season of Discovery, securing world buffs is a must-have. These potent enhancements can be acquired from various locations across Azeroth.
Most of the time though, you’ll come across a world buff when you’re not doing anything particularly challenging and the buff will go to waste! Introducing the Chronoboon Displacer—an invaluable item that allows you to reserve and store your world buffs for strategic deployment. Conveniently purchasable from any reagent vendor, having one of these at your disposal is a wise choice for adventurers, offering the flexibility to activate buffs precisely when needed. Dying with world buffs will get rid of them, but not if they’re Chronobooned, so consider keeping one of these handy items with you at all times!
Simply use a Chronoboon Displacer to save your buffs indefinitely, then use another one to apply them whenever they’re needed most. Make sure you are certain you want to activate your World Buffs though, as you can only Chronoboon once per hour.

There are a few problems.
Players auto-AFK and are automatically logged out if inactive long enough. Using a bot to bypass this is against ToS.
Even though there is an 8-hour cooldown, the buff is always triggered by a player. There is no set schedule, so you will always have to have someone see the previous round happen in order to predict when it can happen again.
I hear the realm discord servers have people announcing and even planning ahead for when they set off a buff.

Like original Classic, World Buffs are likely to play a massive part in the Season of Discovery. All three of the new raid instances, Blackfathom Deeps, Gnomeregan, and Sunken Temple include a unique World Buff to bolster your characters power. Listed below we have compiled a list of the most common and useful World Buffs you will be able to take advantage of during your time in Season of Discovery.

Might of Stormwind and Warchiefs Blessing
Might of Stormwind and Warchief's Blessing are Alliance and Horde versions of the same buff and are exclusive to their respective factions. This buff increases hitpoints by 300. 15% haste to melee attacks. 10 mana regen every 5 seconds. For Horde Players, this buff is applied to anyone inside of Orgrimmar when someone completes the Head of Rend Blackhand quest which comes as a part of a quest chain starting with Warlord's Command. As Alliance it will benefit anyone in Stormwind when the quest End of the Dark Horde quest is completed by any player.
Songflower Serenade increases the chance for a melee, ranged, or spell critical by 5% and all attributes by 15 for 1 hour. This is unlocked by c

I’ve been having chats and everytime I just mention that maybe world buff should be removed for balance’s sake, people automatically overreact and tell me to find another game or something.
I don’t know, people sound like crack addict you’re threathening to remove their fix.

Here’s how you handle ‘world’ buffs:
Make the existing ones persist through death but have no impact in raids. Fun little leveling/dungeon boost.
Put an NPC at the front of every raid that will grant them all to every raider once, and only once, per lockout.
3rd party like warcraft logs will adapt and make ‘no buff’ run ranks a thing
