Pvp track artifacts new world

Greetings, Adventurers!

Season 8 introduces a powerful new set of Artifacts. Whether you aim to sprint across the battlefield, outlast your foes, or sap their strength with forbidden magic, these gear pieces unlock new tactical layers for every playstyle.

Let’s take a look at the new additions.

OLD CROWN – MEDIUM HEADWEAR

Once worn by an ancient ruler of Aeternum, the Old Crown is a majestic helm focused on versatility and durability. With its triple gems and balanced stat line, it’s perfect for hybrid builds that need elemental and physical resistances without sacrificing attributes.

Royal: +10 to all Attributes.

Gem Slot: Energizing Spectral Ward.

Immaculate Onyx: +3% Physical Absorption.

Immaculate Opal: +3% Elemental Absorption.

How to get: Available through PvP Reward Track.

VAMPIRE’S VESTMENTS – LIGHT CHEST

Designed for mages and lifesteal builds, Vampire’s Vestments allow you to trade mana for raw sustain in combat. It rewards ability-based pressure while ensuring your resource pool stays active through smart basic attack use.

Drain: Hitting a target consumes 10 mana. If mana is spent this way, that hit grants

PvP - A new Progression and Reward System

In a recent post by Blizzard, before 7.1.5 hit, they state that Artifact Power traits above 34 were going to take effect in patch 7.2. Originally this was intended for 7.1.5 but due to the short notice on the change this was delayed. Thankfully this was because once this became more public knowledge, a lot of players found this to be a bad idea, myself included.

Stated in the post on why it was considered in the first place was mainly due to the fact that WoW is an MMORPG and that character progression was an important part of this game's design. As a whole, yes, that is a very important design to a MMO. However, in a pvp environment a progression system such as that may not be the best choice and may do more harm then good.

As voiced by so many players, we all know the damages this could do. It will lead to more balancing issues and hurt alts and new-comers alike. This style of progression does not belong in World of Warcraft PvP.

To simplify this:

- More Artifact traits will make PvP even more harder to balance
- Players who are new to the game will not only be behind in PvP talents, but also a
