– The world's smallest Buc-ee's is back!
The tiny version of the popular Texas gas station has reopened in West Texas, about halfway between Sanderson and Marathon, going west on Highway
Although it bears the same name, this Buc-ee's location is without the beef jerky and pristine clean bathrooms the pit stop is known for.
"Somebody is backkkk….Welcome back Sanderson Buc-ee's, it's good to have you home," the city posted on Instagram.
The Buc-ee's first popped up in April , according to Texas Monthly, but disappeared a few days later.

We all know about the world-famous Buc-ee's gas stations. You don't? Well, allow us to explain. Buc-ee's is one of the largest if not the largest gas stations and stores in the United States. Most of the Buc-ees are massive and a must-stop when traveling around the interstates. A typical Buc-ee's is around 68, square feet. That is huge.
It has become sort of a tourist destination. People love to stop at the store and take pictures with the brass beaver in front of the store, take a picture in front of the store with the sign, and love shopping in the store.
Yes, we said shopping because Buc-ee's isn't your typical convenience store. Most of them are massive with sometimes 50 lanes of just gas pumps. Check out that row of gas pumps below. It's huge.
Add to that, a full-on clothing store, food court, and the cleanest bathrooms you will ever see, and you can understand why people love to stop at the popular destination. You can see how big the store is above. A typical Buc-ee's is around 68, square feet. That is huge.

World's smallest Buc-ee's reopens in West Texas
SANDERSON, Texas
- We all know everything is bigger in Texas, but something quite small is the talk of one West Texas town.
The town of Sanderson, about two hours east of Marfa, announced that a smaller than usual version of the popular gas station Buc-ee's has reopened along Highway
"Somebody is backkkk&#x;. Welcome back Sanderson Buc-ee&#x;s, it&#x;s good to have you home," said Sanderson's tourism account on Instagram.
The small site isn't an actual Buc-ee's, there are no beaver nuggets or gas to be had at the location. It is an art installation, similar to the Prada store in Marfa that was built in
The small Buc-ee's first appeared on Highway 90 in April , leading to several posts on social media before it was eventually taken down.

'Somebody is backkkk': World's smallest Buc-ee's suddenly reappears in West Texas
SANDERSON, Texas (KTRK) -- The world's smallest Buc-ee's suddenly reappeared in far West Texas, but here is the thing. It has the right sign, but that's about it.
The cinder block art installation first appeared along U.S. 90 near Sanderson, Texas last year and was removed days later.
The roadside attraction has no gas pumps, signature snacks, or clean bathrooms.
On Friday, Visit Sanderson, Texas posted a photo on Instagram to announce the return of the art installment. "Somebody is backkkk," the caption read. "Welcome back Sanderson Buc-ee's, it's good to have you home."
